Help with fibroid live in uk?


need some advice i first found out i had a fibroid 15months ago due to being admitted to hospital with sever pelvic pain i was in hospital for 10days on morphine while i had tests done and a ultra sound and mri i was discarged with painkillers which didnt help much and told i would be seen by gynocologist in few weeks i saw the gyny doctor who i complained to having heavy periods and clots sever pain and swelling i ask to have it removed as i was at the end of my tether as it was taking over my life i was told i was to young for hysterectomy and that that was the only way and with me only having one child they would not do it i left feeling dismayed and alone that was 14 months ago since then the pain has got worse i complained to doctors who ended up puting me anti anxiety medication which did not help and refering me to a phychiartrist the phyciatrist says i have no mental problems just health problems he keeps refering me to gyny 3 times now as i am now bleeding 2 weeks out of 4 with clotts i am getting labour pains i am not pregnant back pain swelling so my clothes dont fit me the list goes on last time i saw gyny they put me on ponstan anti inflammatory it is not working this was about xmas time i have since seen the phyciartrist this month who has just refered me back again to gyny i have seen 3 different gyny doctors now who seem like they carnt be bothered i have been refered again as phychiatrist now thinks i am anemic as keep fainting and am very breathless and dizzy with rest less legs he told me to start taking iron and mulivitamin which i have i am feeling more like my self as i was starting to think i was going cuckoo my swelling is going down since taking iron which i find quite odd but i have concerns about my gyny referal if they are going to help me or not and what do i do if they dont i feel at the end of my rope and if my swelling goes due to iron tablets are they going to just do they same as always nothing i dont know what to do i need help and advise please

Change your GP and get referred again to gynaecologist and ask what alternatives to hysterectomy are available.
A fibroid can be removed without a hysterectomy(uterine artery embolization, UAE)
Also look up Myomectomy(removal of fibroids leaving uterus intact)
Of course if you go private you can choose but it is expensive!
