Do fibroids have a an odor? Fishy odor? I had a pap smear done no problems on this end.? |
Do fibroids feed off blood? No they don't feel off blood, in fact they are encouraged to grow by hormone levels in the body, especially estrogen. None of their symptoms include an odor. No, fibroids have no odor. And papa smear does not check for that, but for cervical cancer. Well as someone who had over 100 fibroids all over the inside and outside of my uterus not sure about the feeding off of blood thing but I was bleeding constantly from them even though I was on the birth control pill to stop bleeeding. There was no fishy odor though. Fibroids are filled with blood from my understanding. Mine was an extreme case that I had a hysterectomy for and It was the best decision of my life I feel great now and no more bleeding. But there are many treatments other then that for a less extreme case of fibroids. But no they do not have an odor. Oh dear. You do understand that there is always a "fishy odor" down there, don't you? That's normal for all women. If you had a pap smear, then you also had a pelvic exam, right? So you should be fine. fibroids feed off sugar and hormones. |
