Have fibroids and suffering from pain-anyone else had the same problem?

My mum has fibroids and has recently suffered from sever pain - she also has bleeding - anyone had the same experiences? would also like to hear from any gynaecologist out there - thanks all.

I am not a gynecologist but a woman who has had a number of female problems. I have a friend who has dealt with fibroids and yes pain can be a problem with a fibroid if they are big enough. My friend had a lot of pain with her fibroid before it was removed. Bleeding is also a common symptom with them.

Because your mom is having a lot of pain she needs to go back to her dr to have these fibroids treated. If her dr won't do it then I would recommend that she get another opinion preferably from someone that is not in the same office of the dr she currently sees.
