Can uterine fibroids give you mood swings?


I think I have fibroids - have been having irregular periods, and this period have been bleeding for 18 days and counting.. but I was also wondering if fibroids change your hormone levels at all and can give you mood swings.

It's not that the fibroids change the moods, but the things causing the fibroids to continue being where they are can stimulate hormone level changes that might make you feel different and change your moods. Source(s): I have PCOS.
