How are fibroids diagnosed?

i had no abnormal bleeding, but i had terrible cramps when i didnt have them before. Went for an ultrasound, and there they were, as big as olives Source(s): my experience
1. Based on the symptoms like more bleeding , abortion , abdominal mass
2. Based on ultrasound scan we almost make sure
3. Do an MRI scan to see things more clearly
$. Laproscopy / Hysteroscopy to see as such.
5. To confirm its fibroid itself send the specimen to histopathological examination.
