I've Had Fibroids For Some Time Now & Just Started To Have Problems Is It Something That Cause Them To Act Up?
No they just grow larger over time and expand the size of the uterus, causing pain sometimes and a heavier flow. They cause a heavier flow because the uterus has grown bigger to accomodarte them and therefore there is more tissue in the uterus that must be shed during you period. You can have them removed one of several different ways if they are causing you problems. Depending on your age and whether you want another child, etc., you may be offered a hysterectomy. If you had a partial hysterectomy (uterus only and not the ovaries), you wouldn't need to take hormones. Are yo talking about fibroid breast or uterine tumors/cysts? I know caffeine can make the breast tumors worse.
