How would i know that i have fibroids?


Iam abit concerned some times i get painful periods other times they are mild. What'sthe best way to go about finding whether i have fibriods or not.Is there a test i have to carry out do i have to be first recommended by my G.p? I would need to satisfy my curiosity especaially that we are trying for a baby.
