I want to know if fibroid is harmful to child bearing? it depends on the size and location, if it was removed, if there are scars, etc... only your doctor would be able to give you a true answer. Not necessarily - see a doctor! It depends on the size and location of the fibroid as well as how many you have. This is something your doctor would be able to tell you more about as they know your history. Sometimes people with fibroids are at a higher risk for miscarriage, but I am an ultrasound technologist and I have seen women with fibroids carry their babies to term too. Another thing about fibroids during pregnancy is that sometimes the hormones of pregnancy will cause the fibroid to grow more rapidly, but this doesn't always occur.
