For women, does anyone find that theyhave fibroid tumors, what do they do about this? My wife had several fibroids attached to the walls of her uterus, which was interfering with her ability to have children. She got pregnant, but then miscarried. Her Doctor initially was reluctant to remove them unless they got worse or caused problems. After she started miscarrying, he removed them. (Now we have a healthy 7 year old boy) go to a doctor and have it removed. it might not be cancerous but if it is growing and it bursts, then that is big trouble. they found mine while i was pregnant and it went away on its own If you know you have fibroid tumors, then you have already been to your doctor since you can't diagnose them yourself. He/she should have given you info on them, if not, call the office and ask for info. I have numerous ones. I don't do anything about them. I have found that too much caffeine sometimes makes them hurt Fibroid cysts are harmless. I have several and have had them for years. They can be painful, and in fact they usually are painful around the time of your period. You should perform regular monthly self breast exams and have a professional examine your breasts annually with your GYN when you have you Pap smear. With fibroids you are at increased risk for breast cancer, which is why it is important to be knowledgeable. Remember this, fibroids are usually soft, although harder than regular breast tissue and they are movable. Cancer is hard and non-movable. The best advice is educate yourself with reputable sources. I had them and had to have a hysterectomy. I would not reccomend surgery to anyone unless it was nessecary but it worked for me. my experience |
