Is it possible to have a fibroid cyst in your armpit?

I have this small lump in my armpit and its been there since june and sometimes it hurts. Could it be a cyst?

yes it is if you think you may have one go see your dr. I have one and sometimes it hurts to even put on deodorant...........

Have you had that checked by a doctor? Breast cancer can occur in that area as well. Please see a dr. It could be a cyst but it better to be safe then sorry.

It could be a sebaceous cyst or a swollen sweat gland. It might be a boil too. Go see your Dr.

I would think it is possible to have lumps in the armpit. My doctor told me that the tissue that makes up the breast runs up to the armpit. So I would say that is a definite yes. If you are having problems w/it I would say have your doctor check it out. Sometimes they can tell by feeling if it is anything to worry about or not.
