I am 16 weeks pregnant and have a brown slimy discharge. Is this from fibroids?

I have been having lots of pains around my belly button and on my right side. An ultrasound proved baby to be fine. I also have a UTI. Dr says the pains around my navel are from my stretching uterus. Has anyone else dealt with this?? Will these pains go away?? Any reason for concern about the brown discharge??

You know you can never go wrong with what your DR says. But always know if you need to go to the emergency room go. It is better to be safe than sorry.

I did have the same pains at 16 weeks and my doctor said the same to me - and yes the pains went!

I would see the doctor for the discharge though. Or your gyne!

Hello mum of four here! I always had a discharge right thru my pregnancy. Some women have more mucas than others during their pregnancy.
I have also had 2 misscarriages but I don't think this is what is going on with you. I don't want to frighten you but if the discharge turns red at all you need to go and see someone. As for the pains I am not sure what that is.
I remember having all sorts of aches and pains due to my expanding tummy!!! And this also is normal too!!!

i had brown discharge and aches and pains until i was 12 weeks each time i went to hospital the baby was fine, they say sometimes woman have had discharge or bleed throughout the pregnancy for no reason, i got told it may of been old blood. as for pains they are common with whats going in in your tummy, ur baby is really growing fast, i get aches and pains but i try not to worry even though its hard when ur pregnant not to worry, just relax and take it easy and everything wil be ok... As funny as it sounds you could be having a period,
The fact that you are 16 weeks strongly suggests this {multiples of 4}
I had this with my baby and she now a very tough 8 year old.
As for the baby you should feel movement within the next 3 weeks which feels like an air bubble
