Those of you who have fibromyalgia, do you do better in warm climates?

When I briefly lived in Arizona, I noticed that the pain was greatly reduced but the fatigue, and sleep problems were the same. What is your take on that?

Wally when I can email I will...having a problem with YA getting a email address!!uuhhgg!

Email me sometime sweetie and maybe I can point you in a direction that can help you as well as other sufferers.

You could have a combination of problems like I have hon.

Among my other medical problems I have Osteo-arthritis. So when I'm in a warm, DRY, climate, I feel so much better. That's a result of the arthritis/joint pain being less.

Like you, my muscle/tendon pain and fatigue is still present from the Fibromyalgia, but since the other pain is less, I do feel better out in the Southwest then home in the mid-atlantic.

BTW - I wouldn't contact wally. the last time I contacted someone like that, they tried to sell me some pills they claimed would help.

Good Luck with your Fibromyalgia. Just know that there are plenty of us living with it out there.

Ken (first diagnosed in 2000, forced to retire in 2004)

I live in a State where the climate is warmer most of the year round and I find that I do better with warmer climate. Right now though we are in a freeze until in to Wed night so between it and the other part of the weather: the rain (from the weekend) I'm trying to get over a flare.

If you are still having problems trying to e-mail and need to ask more questions please feel free to IM me off site any time.
