Anyone out there with up-to-date info on Fibromyalgia?

Also any new medication available here in Australia?

I have fibromyaligia. And this syndrome as they call it sucks!! They came out with a new drug here in the U.S. It is called Lyrica. (hopefully i spelled that right.) I have yet to try it though. there are some side affects such as weight gain hand, face and ankle swelling and some others. I kinda want to try it but not to sure about the weight gain. I am taking Kepra for seizures and already gained some from that. My Dr. gave me a muscle relaxer for the pain associated with the Fibro.Good luck to you

I have a friend with this condition, we live in Canada, there have been no new drug released for this unfair condition but there is some promising research, I hope for any one who has this debilitating illness that something happens soon to cure this affliction
