Every person has different symptoms but there are some things you can be doing to reduce your body's responses to it.

Check out some of the good medical sites via google (type in fibromyalgia), and join up with one of the fibro groups over in the yahoogroups area.

SLEEP 8 hours a night or more, that's #1. Get good nutrition (fruits and veggies), stay away from sugars, caffine, chocolate, high fats. That helps a lot to eliminate those from your body. Get sunlight on your skin, or those full spectrum lights--that helps a lot too.

Detoxification, therapy, , a diet nearly vegetarian, and getting a life.

excercise, 8 hours of sleep at night, good nutrition, antidepressants

Try your best to get enough rest, eat as naturally as possible (we all slip sometimes and have something not quite right.....), ask your MD or other health care professional if depression medication will benefit you. You may also consider getting some form of counseling from a psychiatrist or psychologist -- someone who might understand your depression. The body aches are quite debilitating to me -- your Md can also suggest medications to ease this discomfort. There is an excellent web site too and national organization

Know you are not alone!!

Try the following relaxation 'exercise': spend 10 - 20 minutes, twice a day, lying down, and focusing on each part of the body for about 10 seconds, eg. right foot (count to 10 if that makes it easier), then the left foot, right lower leg, left lower leg etc. Resist the urge to move and turn, just observe and focus, stop if you become too restless. This exercise increases circulation flow which relieves chronic tension in muscle and connective tissue, the primary cause of fibromyalgia pain. With less pain, you will have a new lease on life and suffer few bouts of depression.
I am not a doctor but have done extensive research, learned much from my own experience (reversing the symptoms of fibromyalgia), and wrote 'Active Healing', a book about self-healing.
