Fibromyalgia and Sed Rate? |
Do people with Fibromyalgia normally have a high/elevated sed rate? OR is an high/elevated a common symptom of Fibromyalgia? Please no copy and pasting from websites. Post an answer and if you have a good website list it! No. FMS and an elevated SED rate are not related. FMS is not inflammatory which is why steroids don't help. I am only 28 and I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia when I was 18. I tell ya what, it is no fun! I am not sure about the sed rate, but I know how I have over come this annoying diseases for the last 10 years. I stay very very active. I have to. I know this answer will probably not help you, but I just don't know too many women that have it. :) Fibromyalgia is NOT an inflammatory disease therefore there is no blood work to use in its diagnosis. People with fibro DO NOT have an elevated Sed. Rate unless they have an additional co-existing condition causing it, or they have been misdiagnosed. |
