Is Fibromyalgia curable, and how?

Is Fibromyalgia curable, and how?

For some people it is managable-and new treatments are being developed to help the rest.

Diets help Some people.

Exercise help Some people.

Diet and exercise made me worse.

Alternative treatment helps Some people---

be careful about anyone selling FMS as a curable/easily treatable disease. Many of those 'cures' work as well as OTC diet pills-not really at all

Things other that may help are meds like SSRIs and anticonvulsants, pain meds, acupuncture (none worked for me)

i dont think it is cureable, but you can lesson the symptoms by light exercise, maybe pilates or swimming and eating right. You have to force yourself to get up and do it though or you will never feel better.

I have it and it's not curable that I know of, but if you try going on just meat and lettuce and salad dressing for a day...I bet your pain will lessen. I eat a low carb diet and my pain is GREATLY reduced. Eat what I said for a day or two just as an example to see how you feel.

Not at this time it isnt.

No, as of now, there is no permanent cure. But there are many options for treatments and relief that can aid in relieving the pain and stress caused by it. Natural alternatives are a better option than medications since they don't give side effects and prevent flare-ups from occurring. Seek professional diagnosis first, then choose the best treatment for you.
