I have Fibromyalgia and believe I know why?

I believe what is happening is that my spine is damaged some what like a toothache would be. I know for a fact that if I eat a low carb diet, that I do not feel the intense pain I would otherwise. When you have a toothache the tooth(bone) deteriorates to the point that if you eat any sugar foods it gets to a nerve and causes pain in your jaw.

I believe this has happened to me in my spine and when I eat a high glycemic carb, that carb turns to sugar while in my blood stream. When this blood gets to the point of injury it seeps into this canal to the nerves or spinal cord where there are many nerves that connect to many points within the body. This causes the horrible pain throughout the body.

My question is-how do I get anyone to at least listen to this idea? I don't believe anyone would make money on this if it is a cure because it wouldn't require medicine. So pretty much theres no reason for anyone to care. If anyone has any ideas on a situation on this, please respond.

I've emailed some researchers but never get a response. If anyone can pass on this info I'd appreciate it so much.

Wow!
I am a sufferer too, and suffer I do!
I dont think a lot of doctors even take this condition serious to be honest.
I have no idea how to answer this question but thank you so so much for the info, I will for sure try it ( I would try anything to rid me of this pain).
Thank You ...heres a star *

What you are talking about isn't a cure - its a treatment. A cure means going away forever, and so far there doesn't appear to be any known cures. However, you might be on to something, so don't give up - keep contacting other researchers.

You should probably do some research on your own too - check the "Entrez" website and get ready to do some not so easy studying. Type "fibromyalgia" into its search window, and good luck.

Yes keep looking for an answer there is one out there and with this type of problem science and mind healing the body is the key.

honey i am so glad u wrote this i have the exact SAME problem i have intense arthritis like pain all over my body whenever i eat bad foods (fatty foods, dairy, soda etc) IBS and FIBRO are connected!!! they are the same for me! i have both at the same time it is AWFUL i think we should get disability for it lol

You would have to have some sort of connection between symptoms.
If your having some bone and teeth issues, and assume you have fibro, have you had your liver checked???

There are diseases of the liver that can cause fibromyalgia.
Fibromyalgia is really high in those with HCV infection.

HCV infection can cause tooth decay. HCV is not just a liver disease, it resides in everything connected to it. HCV has 150 bi-directional diseases and disorders associated with it.

Often a doctor will run a liver panel test, but in those with hcv infection, not always will the alt and ast levels be elevated, leaving the doctor to think there isn't anything wrong. HCV is not a routine test and the only alarm the doctor may have to test you for antibodies are elevated liver enzymes.

Many who have HCV infection do not even know they have it and are treated for symptoms, many do not even know how someones hcv infected blood got into their bloodstream.

HCV is not the only viral infection that can cause fibro, so you should test for viral and bacterial infections that may have fibro as a secondary disease.

If you had holes in your spine, you probably would not be alive, or alive living with chronic fibro very long.

So little is really known about fibromyalgia. It used to be a diagnosis given when no other was available. People do care, that's why we still do the research. Don't give up; many, many people care! Hang in there!
