Is their a drug to relief fibromyalgia? |
is their a drug that could relief enough pain to be confrotable.or home remedies or herbal or natural or any just need help.and if so were could i get it or any inf..to get it thxx..trying to help my mom Glutathione: The Body's Master Antioxidant glutathione (GSH) is a small protein produced naturally in our cells when certain required elements are present. It functions both as an antioxidant and an antitoxin and is a major defense system against illness and aging. Our glutathione level actually indicates our state of health and can predict longevity. Although there are more than 60,000 published papers on the beneficial effects of glutathione replacement, it is still largely ignored by mainstream medicine. . In the near future the importance of glutathione will be widely recognized because it has the ability to boost the immune system and fight off the damage of free radicals on the cells. Lyrica is the only drug approved in the USA for the treatment of fibromyalgia. It has worked wonderfully for me. I have fibromyalgia and take ibuprofen, panadeine, etc. What I do find helpful, is to apply heat to areas affected. When I am aching all over I turn my electric blanket on to a med heat setting and crawl into bed, but this is not always practical. I have also been treated with a low-dose anti-depressant as it can act as a pain relief. But you would need to see the Doctor for that. My specialist also advises exercising, although I never have coz I really can't see how you can when you are in so much pain with it. The heat really helps me. My heart goes out to your Mum and I hope you can find some help soon. As other people have said Lyrica is a choice however it didn't work for me. A lot of anti-depressants help with pain I take cymbalta and this has been the one consistently helpful medication, tramadol (a pain killer) helps some, lots of people take neurotin this works much better for me than Lyrica, muscle relaxers can help and even sleep aids. Try to find a good doctor in your area that will really help. My family doctor understands that Fibro is a real syndrome and he helps me to have the best quality of life I can. Maybe post a question and ask people if they know of a good pain specialist, rheumatoligist or family doctor that treats fibromyalgia in your town. Best of luck to you and your mother! Most people don鈥檛 think about medicine in terms of anything other than taking some pills, seeing the doctor, or having surgery or a procedure done in the hospital, but the truth is medicine is much more than that. History has taught that maintaining healthy habits not only prevents many diseases, but it lessens the impact of the illnesses that do occur. In terms of life with fibromyalgia, this is very important information. Fibromyalgia medicine definitely includes taking your medications regularly and as prescribed; it also includes the things people with fibromyalgia can do each and every day to improve the quality of their lives. Here is a brief look at what you can do, unrelated to pills, that you can do to make a difference in your daily life. Just as there are laws in the physical, (the world we see), that say a one hundred thousand ton aircraft carrier can float or a one hundred ton jet can fly, but only with the proper knowledge, there are also laws in the spiritual, (the world we don't see), that a person can use to eliminate Aids, MS, malaria, heart disease, cancer, blindness...etc. from their body. http://www.sheep2lion.com/ will help you obtain the knowledge about those laws and more. the only FDA approved drug is Lyrica (antiseizure med) Look up the drug Lyrica. It is the only FDA approved drug to treat Fibromyalgia. I have the condition, but Lyrica wasn't something I could take. However, it has helped a whole lot of people. |
