I have fibromyalgia can anyone help am in so much pain all the time?

There is a commercial for Lyrica which is suppose to be good for fibro but I have read alot of bad sad effects with it from people on here. I too have fibromyalgia and have two herniated disc in my lower back. I wish I could tell you where to go and what to do...but I am in the same boat. You can type in the word Lyrica on the search for question box and you might find some answers there about the drug. I wish you lots of luck.....and I feel your pain ...

I hope you find some relief ..It is a rough thing to have, and I have searched and searched for the right someone to help me as well. I did email kindness@fibrobetsy.com, like the one poster suggested, but they never emailed me back, perhaps you will have better luck. I have heard of people using marijuana for pain control-

just be warned in addition to legal consequemces-stret marijuana is often laced with dangerous chemicals-

The only FDA approved drug is Lyrica (anti seizure class)

other promising treatments include Neuro drugs in teh SRI, SNRI class ((including pain med tramadol (ultram))

I was the 1st person to get the Vagus Nerve Stimulator and have been about 25% better-the most notable is taht the pain meds actually worked when I had a flare-they never used to touch teh pain.
