What is a good gift for someone who is suffering from fibromyalgia - something thoughtful to ease the pain?

I'm looking for something that actually works...

Someone recommended herbal remedies (I don't know of any), massage therapist gift certificates... any other suggestions?

My daughter made me a big fat pillow with seed in it that I could throw in the microwave...its absoultly the next best thing to the hot tub...an electric blanket is nice too if the fabric isn't scratchy at all. and a foot bath is nice if the water stays warm( some don't)
What a thoughtful, thoughtful person you are. Will you marry me if my husband stops being such a thoughtful, thoughtful person?

Herbal remedies aren't always 100% effective, massage therapy will probably HURT a lot... perhaps pay for some classes in Tai- Chi or Yoga. Keep it low-key and low-impact. Perhaps water Aerobics? Moving is VERY important to those with Fibromyalgia. There are also Fibro-related gifts at http://www.fmaware.org/ and http://www.FibroHugs.com/ Good luck!

a lot of people with FMS say massage helsp them-but if anything-it hurts me--

Most people with FMS say heat helps them (personally, cold helps me). I've seen these fancy heating pillow type things in the mall at kiosks-I think it's the carts that sell 'eastern' type products (Chinese)--

lavender scent is supposed to help with pain-although it never helped me
