Have you seen same Fibromyalgia answers?

Has anyone else noticed a couple people giving answers to Fibromyalgia questions that have nothing to do with the actual question-

These people are just promoting their websites.

Often the info on their websites doesn't answer the question either.

They are NOT attempting to answer the question which is a violation of the community guidelines-

If they are trying to get business-that may also be a violation.

I am sick of seeing the SAME copy and paste answers that have NOTHING to do with the question-over and over again-

Personally, I believe at least one of them is giving false info--trying to get people with a real disease to buy a product that hasn't been appropriately tested-may or may not help-but may waste people's money-any supporting info they give is not reliable-as we have learned with things such as Vioxx.....

One does has soem good general info-

but usually does not come close to even answering the question-

the quetsion may be about symptom ABC-but neither the question nor teh website refer to symptom ABC at all-

I do appreciate people trying to give good info-

but just saying "Go to My Website' over and over again is annoying-when the website doesn't even answer the question...

Ilooked at the hobbit answer-
it is a legitimate answer to teh question-

first of all-the question could be considered racist -asking what race a name sounds like--

it makes sense that it sounds like a character from hobbit-

it was an attempt to be a funny answer-
It was not a non answer as referred to in this question-

i am assuming that this person is not answeting hobbit to every question like

what is a good boys name
what is a good girls name
what moveie is funny
what is teh name of your computer

hobbit relates to your question-it may not be a good answer-but at least it relates to your question

This question is about answers that do NOT relate at all-and are repeated over and over and over again...which is annoying-I work 55 hours a week-[one of teh first things I do is check questions and answers related to Fibromyalgia-I hate wastign my time when I go to read answers to a good question-and the only 2 answers are 2 copy jobs with links that do not answer teh question at all....

Not that Yahoo is monitoring this site-but it is against the rules to ASK the same question repeatedly-shouldn't it be against the rules to give the same exact copy and paste answer to all different questions-over and over and over again (especially since they do not really attempt to answer the question)

they could be reported-but it seems like teh luck of teh draw-who wins an appeal-

my guess is it is like-

they deny 3 appeals and uphold 1-dney 3 appeals-uphold 1-with no consideration as to whether or not there is a violation-

so people violating the rules get away with it-if they happen to be that lucky '1'

I saw the one link-it seems the person has good intentions-if theywould take the time to actually answer teh specific question and tehn add their website to teh bottom-it would be a GREAT answer....the link has background (legitimate) info and the posters personal story

I hear ya! I think I have it...and it hurts so so bad. I need something to help me with it. But it's sad because people would rather advertise their sites than help. Do you think you can help me, talk to me about it ok?

I believe I have seen some people doing that. It is not very nice or considerate.

I suffer from fibromyalgia too, btw but do not have a website to post.

this is a very legitimate question in my book I too have searched for answers,my doc. told me a few years ago that I had fibromyalgia and then forgot it,I would go back with the same complaints and never getting answers!so here is what I myself have come up with,I call it a catch all phrase when they have no answers even though they now advertise meds on t.v.now that MAY help,I figure it;s kind of like penicillin use to be,you go the the doctor tell them your complaints and they gave you penicillin because it was suppose to cure anything supposedly,so to make it short er you hurt all over they don;t have a CLUE as to why so they put it all in one basket and call it fibrofyalgia! :GO FIGURE" TRUTH IS ,THEY HAVE NO ANSWERS,IF YOU FIND ONE LET ME KNOW! O.K.?
