Any women here have fibromyalgia???

Where does it come from and how do you feel (physically)?
What prescription do you take?

FMs has been believed to be a disorder of teh Central Nervous System for about 10 years now-It was previously erroneously thought to be a Rheumatological disorder m(musculoskeletal). But, there are only mysculoskeletal symptoms-the disorder is believed to ORIGINATE in teh neurological system.

A theory is that you have to be genetically predisaposed adn tehn have a triggering event such as physcial trauma or illness or emotional trauma.

Until i was the 1st person in the world to get teh Vagus Nerve Stimulator for FMS-nothign helped at all-and I tried alot-acupuncture, Guaifenison, aromatherapy, neuro drugs, narcotics......

Now I am getting some relief...

I have fibromyalgia. I'm not sure where it comes from. Physically I feel drained and hurt everywhere. At first I thought I might have arthritis. I take 50mg of Elavil.
