Anyone with fibromyalgia and pregnant? I'm so tired and hurt so bad and I am scared.? |
I'm only 19 weeks and still have a looooong way to go and it's already this bad...I barely do anything and have no energy at all, everything hurts so much and I just want to hear from someone else who has made it through this please. please no more symptom descriptions from people who don't have FMS. I have it, okay? I see a rheumatologist in addition to my DO and OB. I don't need to know what it's like to have it. I know. I need to hear from people who are experiencing what I am going through right now, which is carrying a baby while living with the chronic widespread pain of fibromyalgia. I have fibro too, 30 weeks now. I have had horrible back and leg pain, and I have part of my butt/vagina that is completely numb. The doctor just put me on percocets for the pain and I am trying not to take them. I am overweight too, so I am sure this adds to the problem, but I have only gained 5 pounds with this one. I have just been taking my prenatals every day, using heating pad/ ice packs and tylenol. I have a 5 year old boy and I have to be up with him, but some days I can't do much. All I can tell you is try not to think about how much more you have left, I started hurting around 18 weeks. The last 2 weeks have been bad but time is going by faster. Make sure your doc knows everything, maybe they can think of something to try, and get your iron levels checked for anemia too. Good luck hun, hang in there. I won't even consider having children because of Fibromyalgia--I can barely take care of myself--can't even take care of a pet... |
