I have Fibromyalgia......My doctor started me on Atacand.....It seems like muscle pain and tenderness is worse

I got chills and felt like have the flu. Everything aches.And skin feels sensitive and muscles.

i hope it is for your blood pressure-not FMS

Candesartan is in a group of drugs called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Candesartan keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow

It is a known side effect--although not actually an allergy..

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficulty breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using this medication and call your doctor at once if you have any of these serious side effects:

feeling light-headed, fainting;
urinating more or less than usual, or not at all;
chest pain; or
dry mouth, increased thirst, drowsiness, restless feeling, confusion, nausea, vomiting, increased urination, muscle pain or weakness, fast heart rate, feeling light-headed, fainting, or seizure (convulsions).

It sounds like you are suffering an adverse reaction to the medication. I would recommend for you to stop taking the medication and to see your doctor if your symptoms get worse or persist. I hope your health to improves!!!

First off,
stop taking it.
You are obviously allergic to it.
go see your doctor, imeadiatly.

call the doctor, stop taking the meds, its obviously not working right on you
