Fellow fibromyalgia sufferers, drug question?

I was finally diagnosed with fibro a month ago. I tried Cymbalta and it literally made me crazy and sick. I am going back to Dr. tomorrow and get Lyrica, any input on experiences with Lyrica? I am a stay at home Mom with four boys, including 4 yr old twins, one that has never slept. My husband is a truck driver and does not help in our home with anything, as he is never home. He drives so I could stay home. My doc thinks I might have always had the fibro, but the stress and exhaustion of the twins brought it full blown.

Hello, So sorry to hear you have fibro.
I was diagnosed with it a little over a yr ago,and the Dr. put me on Lyrica! My experience was it helped at first but after it got into my system good i started having side effects like when my husband was talking to me in the kitchen one evening (he looked like a skeleton) i started seeing stuff , I'm not crazy but that med will make you crazy if you have the same side effects that i had ... oh and it also makes you gain weight. I don't take anything for it now. when I'm in alot of pain i take a pain pill , that's about all you can do! Good Luck

my mom tried it, but doesn't work for her, no side effect, also no improvement.
it could help you, everybody responds in a different way
