SSDI/fibromyalgia/terminal? |
someone told me that SS lists Fibromyalgia as a TERMINAL illness. JUST call SS are annoying NON ANSWERS This is the listing of impairments. It is not listed at all on here (you can search on top left), so it is obviously not listed as terminal. I am not totally sure this is the right branch of social security as I know there are two different types? But here is the link anyway in case it helps. You might call or visit Social Security Administration (SSA) to get the information that you are wanting. FIBROMYALGIA is not terminal. Fibromyalgia is not directly addressed by Social Security. (Some try to get it covered as an immune disorder http://www.ssa.gov/disability/profession... People do not get benefits on the basis of having a specific disability anyway. They get on the basis of how much WHATEVER disability they have makes it difficult or impossible to do basic self-care or to be employed. |
