Fibromyalgia and hormones? |
So, I've had fibromyalgia for about 14 years. I honestly feel like there is a huge correlation between my hormone levels and my pain. Has anyone else seen a connection between an imbalance in hormones and pain associated with Fibromyalgia? its quite possible you are misdiagnosed-- you don't allow email--so I hope you see this=probably an OBGYN--look up Dr Titelbaum, fibromyalgia--and the SHINE protocal--alot of it is quackery--but his research on teh hormonal problem is relevant Report Abuse I also have fibro and I'm planning to have my hormones checked, but I'm looking for a dr. who orders bio-identical hormones; you must go to a compounding pharmacy.Testing is expensive,so check your Ins.I recomend a web site The National Fibromyalgia Association. May 12 is NFA Awareness Day. |
