Anybody find relief from pain from fibromyalgia/polymyalgia besides pain killers?

Possibly any alternative treatments? Thanks!

80% of adults are deficient in Magnesium. I have treated hundreds of Fibro patients with Mag. supplements and Mag. IVs and it works!!! Do a search for "Myer's cocktail" which has Mag, B-Vitamin, etc. The only issue is finding a practitioner who will administer the IV. If not, you need to take about 400 mg daily at bedtime. If you get diarrhea, you can take Mag Taurate which will help your gut to assimilate better. Mag. IV's are by far the best. Guaifenesin is an expectorant, & not alternative so much as it is a chemical.
Consider Liquid Health - Glucosamine...

I used to take Gufenesin for sinus but never had any noticable change in my fibro

Most doctors will tell you exercise helps even just 5 min a couple of times a day. DO NOT exercise vigously or you will make it worse maybe not that day but a day to two days later. I have chronic fatigue and can't do this so i don't know if it works.

My doctor keeps me on a presciption strength b vitamin. the first one my doctor put me on also had other vitimins in it (the a in it was to much for me and it made me lose my hair)

I know you noted you don't like pain killers. Have you tried ultram/tramdol it is given as a pain killer but it is classified as an antidepressant and pain relief is a side effect.
This remedy is so simple. Water! Water! and more Water! Read the water cure website for more information. I used to be in pain because of arthritis. I could not squat or bend. Now I can do anything. I also take 2 tbls. apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 2-3 x day. ACV has 93 vitamins and minerals to get your body together. Read the apple cider vinegar cures website. Cayenne pepper when taken in food or drink is wonderful too. Cayenne pepper has tons of websites. Honey is also excellent when mixed with your ACV and water. Honestly, water is the best cure for what ails you, and I am proof positive.

Try taking sugar out of your diet. It has helped me , I'm not cured, but I am able to make it through the day with little or no pain medication.
