My mom has it. She has to get plenty of sleep, exercise (walk or swim) daily, go to the chiropractor weekly, eat right, and take muscle relaxers in the evening. She also takes a shower at night and in the morning. She cant stay idle too long or it causes her to be in more pain.

No everyone is different. The symptoms need to be treated as they occur. Sleep disturbances, pain, depression, anxiety, tight muscles. Usually a pain specialist is the best person to see for fibro. They understand the syndrome and you are more likely to get the correct treatment. Good luck
