Many people report that epsom salt baths help with the pain and achiness of fibromyalgia. It's an old treatment and one that's often overlooked. Good for you for wanting to give it a try!

May help some. My wife has fibromyalgia, and the best thing is exercise. When she doesn't swim, walk, bicycle, light workouts, etc., the symptoms become worse. A heavy, strenuous workout is not necessary. Light, limbering, stretching exercises are best.

Drugs and steroids do not work.
The hot water will be of more help than the salt.
I am in the medical feild and have worked under a great physcian that specializes in fibro. Epsom salt soaks can help. Do this in a warm to hot bath. Epsom salt also helps your body by detoxing heavy metals.

Good luck and I hope you have good days!

Epsom salts can help if you aren't allergic to sulfur. They also contain magnesium and most people with fibromyalgia take magnesium supplements to stop the muscle cramping symptom. All of that needs to be taken into consideration before trying them.
