Can You Recommend a Fibromyalgia Online Support Group? |
I have FM and I'd like to find a good online support group. I only want suggestions from people who actually have FM and are members of an online community. I don't want to sound rude, but I could 'Google' this just as easily as anyone else. I'd just prefer to have a recommendation from someone who understands what I'm going through. Thanks! Hi Mama Loc's, Rather than put a long message in here about fibro and all of this email me at poohinmissouri@yahoo.com, I own a totally free chat room that deals with diseases like fibro,ra,ms,lupus etc and you could come and talk to others with fibro about the problems they face everyday and the different pains they have everyday,and how they relive and deal with the pain, the chat is totally free and it will put you in touch with real people with this disease, and we also have a totally free message board with all types of different health infomation including a fibromyalgia message area so just email me for the link and we will be glad to help, the best time to find people in the chat room is in the evening hours but we try to have someone there at all times to chat with you, we look forward to hearing from you There are a couple that I like There are also a couple that have mean people in them... so you are wise to ask. There are quite a few on line support groups out there. Try out these for a start; fibrohugs.com, immunesupport.com, fibrotalk.com, nfra.com, wearefmly.com. This next one is an educational group that has kind of branched off into other disorders but the archives can be very helpful to those with fibromyalgia.
