How much will my fitness have gone down in two weeks?


I've just come back off holiday and before I went I managed to lose a stone (14lbs). I went to the gym more or less every day, where I'd run for 1hr, row, bike, do weights etc. etc. These past two weeks though I've done very little or no exercise whatsoever an I've eaten crap the majority of the time and eaten out most nights. I weighed myself today and it doesn't seem to have changed....maybe 1-2lbs, but I know inside I feel sluggish and just...well, unfit really. How long will it take to get my fitness back to what it was?

You are not alone, most will put 3-5lbs on while on holiday. Even gym instructors!. Just get back to the gym and it will fall off again with the increase in exercise. You will be sore for first few sessions but after that your fitness level will come back up.

well your fitness would not have come down too much but when you work out its gonna hurt the next day your body has gotten tired now..... lazy and the toxins from the kak you been eating gonna make your sweat stink..... nasty ! just go back to gym

general rule is that you lose fitness at a rate of one third of the rate at which you gain fitness.
