im overweight, and 17.i dont exercise at all.however i want to start a sport and my former p.e. teacher recommended either tennis or track. any suggestions on how to start ? i dont want to enter either 1 being clueless I would start by jogging, it's a good work out for starters...I'm a boxer and that's how I started. When you get the hang of that you can throw in some jump roping, crunches and sit ups! well if you'd like to try tennis how about asking a friends to go play in the park one day or a family member. As for track all you have to do is practice running. Eat healthy and drink plenty of water to prepare your body to compete optimally. You will feel much better playing a sport if your body has all the nutrition it needs. basketball really works you may not like it but it will become fun. |
