If I start the running at 2:00 and add 20 seconds each night, by Summer at what running ability will I have?

And if I start 70 lbs lifting, and add 5 lbs a week, would this be a good way to increase punch power and general strength?

Suggestions?

you need at least 1 ful day rest.

just doing bench press wont make you punches heaps stronger sure it will help but there are other muscles involved aswell.

also i highly suggest finding a good martial arts instructor to help train you and maybe a personal trainer in a gym to give you some tips on what you can do to build up strength for martial arts.

also always going up in weights isnt always best you should go down in weight every no and then aswell just do more reps.

looks pretty good but you need to add some grappling into that training, and you don't want to do the strength training everyday, your muscles need a few days to recover, otherwise you won't gain any strength, and will actually lose strength because your tearing your muscles down and not repairing them. but add some grappling, brazilian jiu jitsu, and wrestling. work take downs, take down defense, ground positioning, and submissions. you can be the best puncher and kicker in the world but if you get taken down it throws it all out the window.

That is a good regiment, with the exception (unless the rules prohibit) of adding some grappling, and holds, pressure points, etc. Almost all fights end up on the ground.

don't run everyday. put few rest days in between.

don't know the rules, but throw few other attacks than just punches and kicks. like a strike with the shoulder and the torso if the elbows and knees are not allowed.

just remember to keep it up everyday and make sure you have few rest days. if you don't like the idea of rest days then divide your training into body parts and work one at a time so that other parts can rest while one part is working. (example: run, kick, and jumping jacks all in the same day to work the leg and then move up to core and upper body.)
