Which fitness plan would guarantee results in 10 weeks?


Alright so I'm a tad overweight. I'm 5'6 and weigh 165 pounds and am trying to reach a goal weight of 130 pounds in only 10 weeks! That means I have to lose 3.5 pounds a week. (I know 2 is the "healthy" way). BUT, even though I'm currently working out for 30 minutes a day and cutting out sugar, fat and all the garbage foods, I want to do something extra so I don't plateau--I've already lost 6 pounds in 9 days. What should I do?

I'm thinking of a 2-week yoga boot camp that will help with muscle mass, ensuring a kick in my metabolism.

Is there any other program or workout that you've seen work well in a short amount of time? Tips? I appreciate all the help I can get.

Yoga, Muscle Excercises

Eat at the same propotion of how much you sleep and how much you excercise.

E.g. If you sleep alot and excercise alot then you can eat and digest a reasonable amount of foods. If you don't sleep alot then eat little and excercise reasonably

Erm, also i think you should get a Wii Fit it serious helps.

OK i think if you really want to loose the weight you need to follow a meal plan. I have also been trying to loose weight and besides working out and building up my metabolism i found a great scource of info at www.thebestlife.com.Bob Greene knows how to get results that will stay with you.you can also pick up his book at your nearest library.

No matter how bad you want 3.5 pounds a week, you wont be able to pull those numbers each week. So just start something you will be able to do long term so that eventually you will get down to that weight. sad to say 35 pounds most likely wont come off in 10 weeks.

The thing that would guarantee maximum weight loss is eating 1500 calories, exercising 45-60 mins 5 times per week.

Drink lots of water. Eat only fruits, veggies, 100% whole wheats, fat free dairy, and chicken, pork. Stay away from beef and artificial sweetners. You can have fat, like fat from nuts and stuff (mono and polyunsaturaed). Don't forget to eat NOTHING that has partially hydrogenated oils, as well as fully hydrogenated ones. Cut out ALL hydrogenated oils, for this is where TRANS fat comes from. It can be found in tons and tons of foods. Like coffee creamers. Use milk instead. Also, it's found in Jif peanut butter. Almost all peanut butter has it.

Go for the boot camp! It'll defineatly help.

Good luck! And don't obsess over it. It makes things worse, and when you don't worry so much about it and just wanna eat heathier, it REALLY works.

Get a note pad and lable it as your diet book.

Plan your meals every four days.
Example
For the next for days my breakfast is going to be:
1 egg
I waffle
陆 cup strawberries

Lunch
I egg sandwich
2 ounces crackers

3:00 snack
String cheese
陆 Apple
1 cookie
Also note: Drink mostly water, Don鈥檛 drink your calories!!

And plan not to eat after 3:00. This is very important in weight loss or for people with eating disorders. Breakfast is important because you burn your calories throughout the day and it also fuels you for your day.
Planning meals in advance helps you stick to it, but the most important thing is to make your lunches the night before. It鈥檚 a little hard because you have not eaten since 3:00, but it really helps the next day because it is ready to grab and you鈥檙e not standing in the Kitchen for too long.
And not eating past 3:00 helps those with eating disorders because you don鈥檛 feel like you鈥檝e eaten too much.
This plan has been working so well for me, after reading and trying out a lot of diet books and trying a lot of diet pills that make you feel full, I heard this plan from a friend and it seems to be the best long lasting thing I have done.

More Lunch examples

Rice bowl 鈥?陆 cup rice, 1 cup steamed veggies, 陆 cup terriakki chicken, 录 cup fresh pineapple
(just the rice bowl with water nothing else on the side!)

3 Chicken tacos 鈥?Diced onions tomatoes and cilantro, 3 tablespoons small pieces cut chicken on small corn tortillas

Sandwich and 2 oz crackers

1 and 陆 cup soup with salad

Large Salad
