~~~Army officer fitness test requirements~~~?


Hi, I am trying to become an officer in the Army in the very near future. I tried looking online for the scores that I should have in each category but for some reason I only saw those for enlisted recruits.

Are the requirements the same? Can anyone tell me what scores I should receive in each category, or direct me to a site that can tell me?

For some reason my recruiter keeps skirting around the question so I'm guessing it's a lot :( lol

The Standards are the same for Enlisted and Officers...you have to get 60% in each event to pass the APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test)...just go back to the chart you found look up 60% for your age for each event (Push Up, Sit Up, and 2 Mile Run) and that is what you have to do to pass...hope this helps...remember you also have to pass Height and Weight also...

I don't understand why the recruiter won't give you a direct answer. The physical standards are the same for officers as enlisted. The fitness test standards differ between men and women, and also take into account, gender and age.

It speaks to the enlisted but the same standards apply to officers. That said, there are certain schools where it is expected that you score higher than the minimum standard.

the requirements are the same..Officer and Enlisted.
