Am I too old to become a Fitness personal Trainer?. I am almost 43.? |
I was laid-off last november, and I am currently applying for the Second Career Programme here in Ontario and I would like to study to become a fitness trainer. Do you guys think that I am too old to start in a new career like that?, I turns 43 in August. of course you're not, i mean dame look at Silvester Stallone (probably killed his name) and i think he's in his 50's i think Not necessarily. I'm 50 and have recently reclaimed my divine right to be the best physically and nutritionally that I can. I would rather have someone closer to my age to assist me in any kind of training as opposed to a younger trainer because they tend to be a bit more egotistical and lack the wisdom of age and experience with similar issues regarding possible struggles to achieve. This is where, by my own experience, I consider wisdom ( practical application of theory ) invaluable, so good luck in your choice. How is 43 too old to give training advice, to pace and encourage someone to better fitness? Are you "buff"? Are you knowledgeable in the fitness game? I personally think, if you want to help other people sculpt their bodies, lose weight, live better and longer, you are in the prime age to reeducate yourself in selling yourself as a personal trainer. You'll find that patience, understanding and kindness are high on the list of attributes. Go for it! You are NEVER too old to do what you want to do. My mom is 44 and she is just now going back to school so she can be a nurse! i <3 her!!! She just wants to be happy with what she is doing, and I support her in whatever she does! No, not at all! Why would you? It is also about learning about muscles and stuff as well, and motivating and understanding the body. I dont even think that good trainers need to be very fit themselves. not at all i worked at a gym for four years and the personal trainers were all ages. The owner was in his mid to late 60s and he trained to. And 43 is not old. If ur in shape wats wrong be a fitness personal trainer its ur life hope you enjoy da job No ofcourse not, aslong as you're fit and have the right experience. Nope. It's not too old. Nope not if you're fit you are never too old for anything |
