I am doing the beep test)fitness test tomorrow. Any tips?


like any tips that will help me get a higher score?

Walk the first level, everyone starts off too fast but it was designed to be walked. Increase your speed gradually, so you don't burn yourself out by standing and waiting at the end for the next beep. If you time it right by turning round on the beep you won't be as tired because when you stop your muscles relax, so stop starting makes them ache more.

Make sure you take lots of fluids about 1 hour before you do it, don't talk whilst doing it as that will tire you out.

Make sure you have good trainers on so you don't hurt your ankle with all the turning, and warm up properly so you don't hurt yourself. If doing it outside in the sun, try and take some water to run with.
