How do I tell if I have the flu? Im sick right now and I want to know if I have the flu or just a fever? Like what are the differences? Right now my tempurature is 103.4. uhhh. well like you might feel nauseous. youll feel achy from the fever. sore throat probably. If you come in contact with the flu you will have lower back pain and upper chest pain you should feel weak and nauseated a fever is included in most cases but not all mostly only if you have high blood pressure problems the medicines can cause high bp which would cause a fever and the flu consists of lots of throwing up. Assuming you are an adult a temp of 103 is significant.Usually flu starts suddenly with profound muscle aches,fever,chills,and frequently headaches,runnynose,and sore throat.Most folks nwith the flu are miserable and can hardly stay out of bed even if they must.Other ailments mimic flu.If you have a bad cough,chest pain,seere abdominal pain,or urinary symptoms you might have a different problem.Seeing you primary care provider just might save you a lot of grief.Some meds will shorten the course of flu if given early and might head off complications.The masqueraders need to be treated right away anyway. |
