I have the flu and and I wake up in the middle of the night...?

i wake up in the middle of the night and am like almost half asleep. I run into my moms room and she says i start saying random stuff like quotes from moies and my best friends name. is this normal? how can i stop it? im 12 and i dont know if its common for people my age. thanks!

Most people do talk in there sleep. But I bet you have a fever and maybe a high one, your fever always gets higher at night because your body is trying to fight an infection.Motrin is the best thing for you fever and aches and pains.I hope you feel better soon.

talking in ur sleeep..VERY NORMAL dont wrry bout it

maybe u have a really high fever and ur delirious?

its normal, it will go away when ur body heals itself.
ur sleep talking is a result of high fever cause ur body is over-working itself to kill the flu virus

It is possible to walk in your sleep when you have the flu.

It just maybe that you sleep walk or it could be your flu acting up. Ask your mom/dad or guardian what they think and im sure if they think its strange they'll take you to the doctors..dont worry you'll be okay!

you have a active mind . your normal just try to clear your mind before you go to sleep

It sounds like you just wake up, sleep walk, and talk in your sleep. That's totally what I do! Sometimes your sleeping habits change when you're body does, like if it's sick and has the flu. So maybe you only do this when you have the flu, like I snore when I have the flu and I wake up alot at night when I have a cold.

You probably have a heck of a fever and are delirious from it. My guess is the sleepwalking and talking in your sleep will stop when you get better.
Have you considered having your mom take you to a clinic and get some antibiotics?

i'm not sure. is this something you do only when you have the flu, or is it something that you have always done. because if you have always done this then maybe you should see a sleep expert.

maybe it is just happening because you are so over tired....and delirious....lol
