Lasting symptoms after flu?

Recently, I recently endured this insufferable flu that's been going around. I have been over worst of it, the aches and fever etc., for a couple of days, but the cough remains strong. Is this just the natural course of the flu or a bronchial infection?

You should have it checked out by your doctor. You really shouldn't ignore it and have it turn into something worse.

The flu is an Upper Respiratory Infection but I think most people associate feverish, aches and pains as the flu
Use a decongestant even if you don't feel congested
Whenever possible get the phelm and germs out of your body do not swallow and keep hanging on to the bugs
Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated
Robitussin DM is a good product for this as it will quiet your cough and loosen your congestion so that when you do cough you can cough it up and out
