If you've just gotten the flu, can you get it again? |
Right before I got the flu, or when my symptoms first starting showing, the glands in my neck were extremely sore. The next day I had a headache, then came the rest. Well I got better, then a week later I got a little cold. Thats pretty much gone now. But now my glands are really sore again. I can't get the flu again can I? Or is are they really sore because I've been really sick lately? That's a big yes. Not only does being sick weaken your immune system, but every flu and cold virus is a different "strand," or variation. For example, say I get infected with cold virus "A". My body fights off the cold virus and the antibodies that killed it stay in my blood stream pretty much forever. Then, I get cold virus "B", which I've never had before. Because the "A" antibodies can't protect against it, I get sick again. The same thing happens with the flu. very simple.go see ur dr. yes you can get the flu again....different strand, but still the flu hence why everyone needs a flu vaccine each flu season. yeah you can get it again i think its possible to get the flu after having one. but your best bet is to go see a doctor for sure. hope u feel better! |

Even though viruses and bacterium mutate natrually some people influence mutation for research. ...Not unless you have the cold and a flu in one.... Vicks only helps congestion and clears up the nasal passages. With the flu you need some flu meds, try sleeping unil you sweat like a pig! ... |
