How long can u have the Flu? |
my boyfriend has the flu since feb. 3 & i was woundering when he could come back to school, tell me how long it lasts & how short he can have it... he went to the doctor on the 4th of feb. it usually last anywhere between 3-10 days, however it depends what type of immune he has against it. If he got it on feb 3 then wait another few days and he should be fine. I wish I could give you a definite answer, but it all depends on his immune system and the strain of flu he has contracted. Hope he's up & runnin' soon babe. :) i had the flu just about 4 days with meds from 24 hours to days....the flu that is going around right now is a nasty on let me tell ya.......3 to 7 days or longer Depends on the person's ability to fight it & if they get the right medication,usually antibiotics.A good immune system can fight it faster.I had the flu from back before Christmas & just got rid of it.Awful time! |

I am not sure what illness I am battling, but it's a form of the flu I believe. I never get the vaccine, nor do I usually get sick. But ergh =P I can't even speak, my throat is dead and ... You need to stop worrying about having the flu and asking your doctor about that, and ask about getting on some anxiety medication! ...well it is better to just go to the doctor, where they can prescribe antibiotics. over the counter meds were not designed to cure...but only to reduce symptoms and make them bearable.
