Can I still have the flu? |
I woke up Sunday with the flu and by Wednesday I was feeling alright but i took it easy so I wouldn't get sick again. Today I took it easy again, but I did sweep and vacuum the house.. Afterwards I was exhausted and fairly light headed. Also, I have felt extremely down since I got sick. I guess that's just from being sick and stuck at home? Do I still have the flu?? How long until I should be able to get back to normal again??? I'm soo tired of it. =( There are many different strains of the flu, some worse than others. If you were vomiting a lot and/or had a lot of diarrhea it taxed your body of many necessary vitamins and electrolytes. An imbalance in electrolytes can also explain some mood issues. Most people will recover from the flu within 7days with adequate rest and replenishment of nutrients/electrolytes. So, guzzle some gatoraide, eat some health stuff and pop in some movies- relax & rest!! Lots of fluids too. Hope you feel better and if you don't feel considerably better by the end of the week, I'd see the doc! gaaaaaaaay, i totally had the best answer Report It get outta bed! step outside! get in your car! come and see me! all will be cured! |
