Flu symptoms recent strain, midwest? |
There's a nasty flu bug going on around here that has people getting sick left and right. I don't know whether I'm talking myself into being sick or if I'm actually getting some symptoms. I'm having digestive issues and starting to feel a little sore throat and fatigue is starting to hit me like a freight train. What can I expect during the full course of this virus, if that's what it is? Well if you get it or not, the symptoms aren't good. It starts with a sore throat/heavy feeling stomach.. then a nasty fever which just DOESN'T GO!! then you feel sick then you get fatigued like a "freight train" (I liked your simile ;]) then your head is just like BLEEEEH and your throat is so sore you can't swallow then your like that for about 3/4 days then you start to feel better but then you get the nasal problems after that, like stuffed up nose, hacking cough.. it took me two weeks to get over it mate. I found ibuprofen helped me when I felt so ill I couldn't move. and for the fever a cold flannel on your head and a bowl to keep soaking it. If you have a bath.. make sure you dry off quickly and thoroughly. ;) |
