Flu Prevention?

What are some things you can do to prevent getting the flu when you live in a dorm with lots of other people?

Hi there!

The only sure fire way to prevent the flu is by getting a flu shot. Aside from that your best bet is to wash your hands before eating or touching your face, keep hydrated and eat healthy, dress warmly (in layers) and take multi-vitamins. Also don't share food, drinks, make up etc. with anyone.

Hope this helps! :)

wash your hands all the time! that is one of the best ways...

Get a flu shot.

open a window once in a while
bundle up
dont get too close to sick people?
wash ur hands
lol

Wash your hands a lot. Get plenty of rest, eat right, take vitamins and exercise.

Wipe down anything you share with the person/people in your dorm especially after they've had the flu. I'm going thru the same thing with ppl at my job right now. I'm about to order a couple of cans of Lysol to spray on things that everyone uses. That's another good idea. If you don't want to use spray, buy some anti-bacterial wipes. :)

always drink vitamins and keep away from cold-infected people.

get a flu shot or wash up after interacting with other people

Wear a space suit & only breath filtered oxygen

Pretend flu is only a pharmacitical marketing concept.

Be bacteria free and do regular exercise with a nutritious diet

Flu shot or spray-wash with soap and water frequently, carry hand sanitizer in your pocket. It does NOT replace hand washing, so wash wash wash.........
