My sister has the flu, but i dont. How can I protect myself from getting it? We live in the same house!? |
My sister started getting sick yesterday and she went to the doc today and she has the flu. I am a college student and all my big exams are coming up this week. I literally cannot get sick! What can I do to prevent myself from getting sick? Don't even bother with Airborne! There's nothing in it except for a few vitamins and Echinacea as the last ingredient. NO MAGIC INGREDIENTS! Try to use a different bathroom. Wipe the counters down with Clorox and water solution and wash your hands. Try not to come in close contact with her. No drinking behind her. Stay well and hope she get better soon! keep your hands clean and out of your mouth, thats what i always tell my kids! Good hygiene practices are the #1 thing to do to prevent the spread of disease. Be sure to wash your hands frequently, do not share drinks etc. Try not to touch anything that your sister is touching, ie: sheets, towels, pillows and blankets until they have been washed. Take airborne or the generic version, "Walborne" from Walgreens. Be sure to wash your hands often, especially before eating. Do not have any contact with your sister and try to wipe everything off with an antibacterial wash. Drink lots of liquids and take a multivitamin. keeping your hands clean, try not to touch things after her without wiping it with some bleach. (try keeping a spray bottle near you) stay away from sharing computers (at high risk of spreading germs from each other) dont share phones..ect dont eat off the same plate or anything her mouth touches dont put ur mouth on it like a water bottle Don't french kiss her. |
