I have the flu .does whiskey really work for the coughing?? actually it will make you cough more. mix some honey in with whiskey, it will coat and ease the back of your throat. there isn't anything whiskey doesn't help with, besides relationships. Nah, but have a drink anyway. Whiskey works for phlegm, which in turn helps coughing. I've been using it all my life. I have really bad allergies and it cuts right through the nastiness and gives you a good night's rest. It really does help. yeah! Yes, whiskey will alleviate your cough for awhile, but it will also weaken your immune system, so the bug could last even longer. Try a cough drop. |
