I had the flu but I want to run..? |
Well two days ago (Tuesday) I had a sore throat and ran with my track team, then it got much worse and I started getting all the symptoms of the flu. I felt like throwing up but didn't. The next day (yesterday) I felt even worse and pretty much laid around all day. Today, the flu symptoms seem to have left and all I have is a sore throat, but even that is leaving now. I really want to go running I can't stand being too long without exercise do you think it would be ok to go running later this afternoon? Or should I wait until tomorrow so I'm fully recovered? I feel alright now though. wait until tomorrow. you'll survive one day without running, and your body will sure like that idea :) Wait to tommorow, running while sick can cause permanent and irreversible damage to the heart and the heart valves. wait until tomorrow |
