Can the flu last 24 hours? |
i woke up yesterday with a 101 fever, and i felt like i was going to die. i had muscle aches, the chills, fatigue/weakness, runny nose, loss of appetite, and i was sooooo tired! reguardless of how tired i was, i wasnt able to fall asleep up 6a.m this morning. thats about the time my fever started going down. Today i feel a million times better. Just a little sore, coughing a little, and still no appetite. Yes! That is the real flu. What they are calling the flu now, is actually a cold virus that resembles the cold and lasts for days like a cold. I don't think you had the flu, but there is a 24 hour virus that is going around. Yes...There is a flu called "The 24 Hour Flu" Sounds like the flu to me, but I'm not a doctor. The exact same thing is going through my household. My husband tested positive for the flu when he had it. Our Dr. thought it was just a strain of hte flu virus that has a shorter infection period. That is the real flu what other people think is the flu is actually is a cold virus which lasts for days like a cold |
